Ex- Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities report that a former doctor has been charged with performing sexual assaults involving 38 individuals who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations follow what police called a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant will appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors said the 45 sexual offences comprise:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
