Across the fiercely competitive arena of gaming, it's common for new contenders to fade away as swiftly as they enter the stage.
However the latest Battlefield is striving to change that.
This is the most recent addition in a long-standing warfare game series often framed as a more realistic alternative to the CoD series.
This game has seldom been able to rival its most famous competitor in regards of sales or gamers, but there are signs the new installment could close the gap.
An early access session giving gamers a chance to experience the title earlier this year achieved milestones, and the hype approaching its release has been massive.
However the project is still a significant risk for publisher its creators, which has allegedly invested hundreds of millions of funds producing it.

Production Group and Studio Collaboration
Four teams were developing the title under the unified development umbrella.

Rebecka Coutaz is the general manager of the pair of European teams, and tells reporters that, in terms of what it's providing users, "this new game is likely unsurpassed."
Learning From Earlier Mistakes
The game arrives after the release of the sci-fi the last installment, published four years ago to a unfavorable reception it found it hard to bounce back from.
"We most likely would find it impossible to build and design this new game lacking the lessons we gained in Battlefield 2042," Rebecka explains to our team.
A key those takeaways was to involve the community engaged early, and the team started exclusive player trials not long ago.
This "reaction was explosively encouraging," comments the manager.
A further omitted element from Battlefield 2042 was a single-player campaign, which has been restored this time around.
The UK studio project head the design director is the one tasked with "guaranteeing those levels are as fun and compelling as feasible for the audience."
In spite of reports that the scale of the game had put a strain on the different teams working together globally to build the game, Fas is upbeat about the process.
"Partnering with varied perspectives, varied experiences, it's a really fascinating environment to be involved in on a regular basis," he shares.
"This whole method has been something new but also very exciting because we are collaborating with people from all over the world."
Regarding the expectation on the team, the director states: "We feel stress but at the same time it's thrilling.
"It's a big undertaking. It's probably the largest that many of us have before worked on."
Young Talent Adds New Insight
This is definitely accurate of at least one developer, lighting artist Vlad.
The recent hire creates the lighting elements that influence the mood, tone, and direction of the solo experience.
Vlad completed an internship at Criterion before securing a job with them, and presently is employed with reduced hours while concluding his visual effects qualification at his school.
Vlad states he's a dedicated fan of the franchise, and recalls enjoying the previous game of the series at a buddy's place when he was a child.
Working on it currently, as his first professional role, "doesn't feel tangible."
"It's truly crazy witnessing the advertising in many places," he shares.
"To know that I have contributed my individual work into the game is very surreal."
